Steward's Report
Stewards were advised that the track was deep harrowed on Tuesday 29th August 2023.
Tricky Riddles was quick to begin. Jacoby Bale was slow to begin. Sweet Aces was very slow to begin. (10L)
Sweet Aces -Trailled the field throughout and tailed off, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have no apparent injury..
Stewards spoke to Margery Quick regarding Sweet Aces performance and racing manners at the start. After hearing submissions from Ms Quick, viewing the available race footage and acting on their observations, Stewards deemed the performance of Sweet Aces unsatisfactory. Sweet Aces must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 129, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
Jacoby Bale - underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have cramped. No day stand down period was imposed. Acting in accordance with GAR 130, Jacoby Bale was ordered to undertake a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 130, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted
