Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was taken from Zipping Kendrick.
Mavis Tolmie was slow to begin.
Johnny Football (marred Zipping Kendrick entering the home straight) underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a right triangle injury. A 7 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to representatives Ms. J. Bolitho and Mr N. Britton regarding the greyhound’s racing manners. Acting under the provisions of GAR 123, Johnny Football was charged with marring. Ms Bolitho and Mr Britton pleaded guilty to the charge. Johnny Football was suspended for 28 days at Geelong only and must perform a satisfactory trial in accordance with GAR 127, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted
