Steward's Report
Zulu Blast, Donnington Girl and Exploded were severely checked turning out of the home straight with all three greyhounds falling. Zulu Blast and Donnington Girl completed the event, with Zulu Blast being the fourth greyhound to cross the finish line for betting and prizemoney purposes.
Zulu Blast underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have an injury to the left shoulder joint and right triangle. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
Donnington Girl underwent a post–race veterinary examination - no injury reported.
Exploded underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to lameness to the right hind. A 28 day stand down period was imposed. Subsequent to the race meeting the kennel reported a right hock injury and estimate a two month recovery period.
