Galloping Lucy – New declared weight of 27.0kg, last raced at 25.3kg.

It was noted that the muzzle of Boy Called Zoo became partially dislodged during the running of the event. Stewards spoke to Ms. Dawn Johnston regarding the muzzle of Boy Called Zoo, Ms. Johnston advised stewards that Boy Called Zoo would wear an anti–aggression muzzle in all future events. 

Ocean Galaxy was checked and lost ground on the first turn, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a right back muscle injury and right groin injury. A 21 day stand down period was imposed.

Inter Mary was quick to begin. Fox was slow to begin. 

Como Prince raced wide on the first turn and in the home straight.

A post-race sample was taken from Inter Mary - the winner of the event. 

Archer Three was slow to begin. 

Daintree Granite underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a right fore spike wound, left hind abrasion and left sesamoid injury. A 5 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Mr. Ben Joske regarding Daintree Granite’s performance and racing manners approaching the home turn. After hearing submissions from Mr. Joske, viewing the available race footage and acting on their observations, Stewards deemed the performance of Daintree Granite unsatisfactory. Daintree Granite must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 129, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Jason Rose was slow to begin. 

Telling Time turned head outwards and marred Ayla Rose in the home straight. Underwent a post–race veterinary examination – no apparent injury was reported. Stewards spoke to Ms Carolyn Jones regarding Telling Time’s racing manners in the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 123 Telling Time was charged with marring. Ms Jones pled guilty to the charge, Telling Time was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Traralgon and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 127, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Daimler Bale was slow to begin.

Phelan Seedy faltered approaching the home turn, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a right back muscle injury. A 60 day stand down period was imposed.

Django Maskiell underwent a post–race veterinary examination at the trainer’s request and was found to have a right back muscle injury. A 21 day stand down period was imposed.
