Steward's Report
Jumbuk Hellcat – Late scratching at 17:55 due to weight variation (GAR 101). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer, Mr Gary Joske was fined $100.
Galloping Lucy – New declared weight of 27.0kg, last raced at 25.3kg.
Mr. Mark Giddings was fined $50 for failing to ensure the registration card was produced for the greyhound, Rogan pursuant to GAR 88.
Swiper was quick to begin. Ocean Galaxy and Boy Called Zoo were slow to begin.
It was noted that the muzzle of Boy Called Zoo became partially dislodged during the running of the event. Stewards spoke to Ms. Dawn Johnston regarding the muzzle of Boy Called Zoo, Ms. Johnston advised stewards that Boy Called Zoo would wear an anti–aggression muzzle in all future events.
Ocean Galaxy was checked and lost ground on the first turn, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a right back muscle injury and right groin injury. A 21 day stand down period was imposed.
