Steward's Report
Lovely Romeo was slow to begin.
Ohana Paw Patrol (fell after the finishing line) underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a left hamstring injury. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
Hot Cross underwent a post–race veterinary examination – no apparent injury was reported. Stewards spoke to Mr. Joe Uglietta regarding the racing manners of Hot Cross in the home straight. Stewards heard submissions from Mr. Uglietta and viewed the available race footage. In doing so, Stewards noted that head-on footage for the event was largely unavailable. In considering these factors, Stewards issued a warning to the greyhound.
There was limited head-on vision available for this event.
