Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was taken from Argyle Bell.
Argyle Emma was slow to begin.
Argyle Bell (faltered on the home turn, subsequently fell and collided with Going Gets Tough) underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left hock dislocation. A 90 day stand down period was imposed.
Olivia Express and Argyle Emma raced ungenerously on the home turn. Stewards took into careful consideration that Argyle Bell fell and collided with Going Gets Tough on the home turn, and the effect this incident would reasonably have had on the racing manners of Olivia Express and Argyle Emma. Subsequently, Stewards took no further action.
Following the running of this event, Stewards inspected the track on the home turn and deemed it satisfactory for racing.
