Steward's Report
Kraken Freckles was slow to begin.
Sappire Speed underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have minor abrasions to the left hind metatarsals. No stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Mr M. Williams regarding the racing manners of Sapphire Speed approaching the winning post. After hearing submissions from Mr. Williams, viewing the available race footage and having their own observations, Stewards took no further action. Stewards were of the opinion that Sapphire Speed clipped the heels of Jack Alan approaching the winning post, causing a collision with Assume Kealy.
