Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was taken from Quested Bale.
Jalpa Bale was slow to begin.
Gabby's Gyros turned head inwards and marred Quested Bale in the home straight. Underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a right back muscle injury. A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Ms. Martina Kirillidis regarding Gabby's Gyros’ racing manners in the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 123, Gabby's Gyros was charged with marring. Ms. Kirillidis pleaded not guilty to the charge. Gabby's Gyros was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at The Meadows only and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 127, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
