Steward's Report
Pursuant to GAR 75(6), Parade official Ms Maddi Toner did not act in any official capacity that may have in any way affected the outcome of this event.
Short And Stumpy was quick to begin. Thick As Thieves was slow to begin.
Sailplane contacted the running rail in the first turn, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have right foreleg shin soreness. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
Millara's Money contacted the running rail in the first turn, underwent a post–race veterinary examination – no apparent injury was reported.
Crimson Kit, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a left hindleg tarsal sprain. A 14 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Mr Dale Chapman regarding the racing manners of Crimson Kit in the home straight. After hearing submissions from Mr Chapman, viewing the available race footage and having their own observations, the Stewards issued a warning to connections.
