Barbie Beluga severely checked first turn, underwent a post–race veterinary examination – no apparent injury was reported.
Hard Style Candy severely checked and stumbled first turn, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a right shoulder injury and a laceration to right hind toe. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
A post–race sample was taken from Classic Mercedes– the winner of the event.
