Wild And Easy and Shaka Goes Bang were slow to begin.
Adam's Choice and Shaka Goes Bang raced wide in the home straight.
Quest For Fame underwent a post–race veterinary examination – no apparent injury was reported. Stewards spoke to representative Mr Graham Julian regarding Quest For Fame’s racing manners on the home turn. Acting under the provisions of GAR 123, Quest For Fame was charged with marring, Mr Julian pleaded guilty to the charge. Quest For Fame is suspended for three months at all tracks and must perform two satisfactory trials in accordance with GAR 127, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
Yatri Bale underwent a post–race veterinary examination – no apparent injury was reported. Stewards spoke to representative Mr J. Bryce regarding Yatri Bale’s racing manners entering the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 123, Yatri Bale was charged with marring, Mr Bryce pleaded guilty to the charge. Yatri Bale is suspended for 28 days at Ballarat only and must perform a satisfactory trial in accordance with GAR 127, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
A post–race sample was taken from Misses Easy – placed 4th in the event.
