Pursuant to GAR 75(7), Steward Ms D. Barber did not act in any official capacity for this event.
Image Of Dad was slow to begin.
Image Of Dad (visibly eased at the 50m mark) underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. Stewards spoke to Mr Geoff Smith regarding Image of Dad’s racing manners at the 50m mark. Acting under the provisions of GAR 124, Image Of Dad was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mr. Smith pleaded guilty to the charge. Image Of Dad was found guilty and suspended for three months at all tracks and must perform two Satisfactory Trials in accordance with GAR 127, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
