Dewana Payout was slow to begin.
Magic Eyeliner tired over the concluding stages.
Pulse (turned head inwards and visibly eased turning off the back staright) underwent a post race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. Kennel Representative Mr. David McKenzie denied the option to have the greyhound re-examined. Stewards spoke to Mr. McKenzie regarding Pulse’s racing manners. Acting under the provisions of GAR 124, Pulse was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mr. McKenzie pleaded guilty to the charge. Pulse was suspended for 28 days at Geelong and must perform a satisfactory trial in accordance with GAR 127, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
