Steward's Report
Extra Special, Daintree Jade, Dr. Bunsen and Markev Boy were slow to begin. Daintree Jade, Dr. Bunsen and Markev Boy collided soon after the start checking Markev Boy. Orlando Jay. Daintree Jade and Dr. Bunsen collided on the first turn. Markev Boy galloped on Daintree Jade on the first turn checking both greyhounds. Miss Alouette eased approaching the home turn checking Braemar Lass. Orlando Jay checked off Braemar Lass on the home turn.
Miss Alouette was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found. Trainer, Mr. K. Ward, declined his option to have the greyhound revetted.
Acting under GAR 69(1)(b) stewards charged Miss Alouette with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment and suspended the greyhound for 28 days at Sale and directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial All Tracks, pursuant to GAR 69(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.
