Latham Bale was quick to begin before losing ground in the back straight and playing no further competitive part in the event. Latham Bale underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was re-examined following race 6 - no apparent injury was reported. Stewards spoke to Trainer Nathan Hunt regarding Latham Bale's overall performance in the event.  After hearing submissions from Mr. Hunt, viewing the available race footage and acting on their observations, Stewards deemed the performance of Latham Bale unsatisfactory. Latham Bale must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 129, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Cool Story Bro was slow to begin.

Ian Robinson was issued with a warning under GAR156(f) for negligence, after the greyhound Kandinsky was placed in the incorrect kennel during the kennelling process.

Lala Ultra Fast lost ground from the first turn onwards. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent injury. Stewards spoke to trainer Ms. Donna Knight regarding Lala Ultra Fast's overall performance in the event. In accordance with GAR 122, the Stewards requested Ms. Knight to report as soon as practicable anything that may have affected the running of Lala Ultra Fast in the event, which was not noted by Stewards during or immediately after the event.

Aston Harrison was checked in the back straight and subsequently lost ground, underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a spike wound and a laceration on the right hind. A 21 day stand-down period was imposed.

Alfie Solomon lost ground from the first turn onwards and subsequently underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. Stewards spoke to trainer Mr. Mark Giddings regarding Alfie Solomon's overall performance in the event. In accordance with GAR 122, the Stewards requested Mr. Giddings to report as soon as practicable anything that may have affected the running of Alfie Solomon in the event, which was not noted by Stewards during or immediately after the event.
