Steward's Report
Belinda's Girl, Bruiser Bale and Akina Akeira were slow to begin. Bruiser Bale and Akina Akeira collided soon after the start. Provincial Bear checked off Daintree Puzzle on the first turn checking Bruiser Bale and Black Kaden and causing Lone Survivor to race wide. Bruiser Bale and Akina Akeira collided approaching the second turn and again on the second turn. Bruiser Bale raced wide approaching the third turn. Black Kaden checked off Akina Akeira on the third turn. Akina Akeira galloped on the heels of Belinda's Girl in the back straight checking both greyhounds. Belinda's Girl, Black Kaden, Bruiser Bale and Akina Akeira collided on the fourth turn checking Bruiser Bale and Akina Akeira.
Bruiser Bale was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
Stewards issued a warning to Mr. M. Delbridge, the trainer of the greyhound Bruiser Bale regarding the greyhound's racing manners in the home straight.
