Steward's Report
Bomber's Demon and Mt. View Barkley were slow to begin. Woodside Robber was very slow to begin (3 lenghts).
Fine Wee Lass underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. Stewards spoke to Trainer Ms Debra Cumes regarding the behaviour of Fine Wee Lass escaping the catching pen. The Stewards hold concerns that this poses an unnecessary safety issue for Fine Wee Lass, for other greyhounds in the race and staff that triage these types of incidents. After considering submissions from Ms Cumes, a warning was issued that further such instances of this nature may result in Fine Wee Lass being placed on a conditional satisfactory trial in accordance with GAR 129.
