Steward's Report
Chi Foose was slow to begin.
Jayville Hope was severely checked on the first and lost ground, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a left carpal sprain. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
Dundee Cotton faltered on the home turn and subsequently tailed off, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a right triangle injury and spike wound. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to Mr. Martyn Empson regarding the unnecessary delay in boxing Dundee Cotton in this event. A warning was issued to Mr. Empson pursuant to GAR 105 (9).
Following the running of this event, Stewards inspected the track on the home turn and deemed it satisfactory for racing.
There was no head-on vision available in the back straight for this event.
