Steward's Report
Eden's Gift and Rebel's Spark were quick to begin.
Rebel's Spark turned its head outwards in the home turn and underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a right foreleg long head triceps injury. A 5 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Mr Jacob Biddell regarding Rebel's Spark’s racing manners in the home turn. Acting under the provisions of GAR 125, Rebel's Spark was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment by reason of injury. Mr Biddell pleaded guilty to the charge. Rebel's Spark must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 125, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
There was no head-on vision available in the back straight for this event.
