Major Sentence was quick to begin. Jayville Glory was slow to begin.
Lead The Way - underwent a post–race veterinary examination – no apparent injury was reported. and was found to have. Mr. Tevor Whitford regarding Lead The Way’s racing manners in the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 124 Lead The Way was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mr. Whitford reserved his right to plea to the charge, Lead The Way was found guilty and suspended for three months at all tracks and must perform two Satisfactory Trial's in accordance with GAR 127, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
A post–race sample was taken from Rojo Silver Fox – the winner of the event.
