The start of this event was delayed by approximatley 1 minute due to a gallops event running behind schedule in Tokyo.

South West Smith (severely checked on the first turn), underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a right track leg injury. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to trainer Mr. David Plumridge regarding the racing manners of Magic Changes entering the home straight. After hearing submissions from Mr. Plumridge, viewing the available race footage and having their own observations, the Stewards issued a warning to connections regarding the greyhound’s racing manners entering the home straight.

Lead The Way - underwent a post–race veterinary examination – no apparent injury was reported.  and was found to have. Mr. Tevor Whitford regarding Lead The Way’s racing manners in the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 124 Lead The Way was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mr. Whitford reserved his right to plea to the charge, Lead The Way was found guilty and suspended for three months at all tracks and must perform two Satisfactory Trial's in accordance with GAR 127, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.

A post–race sample was taken from Rojo Silver Fox – the winner of the event. 

Lissy Fernando underwent a veterinary examination prior to racing and was passed fit to race.

Squiggly Papa and Tuscaloosa were slow to begin.

Mr Kyle Goodwin requested an early race endorsement for Come To Burn. The Stewards approved the request after an examination prior to racing by the on–track veterinarian. Come To Burn will compete in early races until further notice.

Manilaartisan, Fritter and Comet To Burn were quick to begin.

Ian Green was issued with a warning under GAR156(f) for negligence after the greyhound, Riverdale Tommy was placed in the incorrect kennel during the kennelling process.

Club officials were reminded of their responsibilities after the greyhound, Riverdale Tommy was placed in the incorrect kennel during the kennelling process. This matter was referred to the Club Manager for further consideration and remediation.

Crime Thriller and Zipping Renegade were quick to begin. Riverdale Tommy was slow to begin.

An out of competition sample was taken from Dewana Fair Go on the 30th of March 2023 pursuant to GAR 139.
