Steward's Report
Bridget Gem was quick to begin. Brandon was slow to begin.
Stewards spoke to Mrs Lesley Russell, the Representative of Bridget Gem after the greyhound underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have suffered a seizure. Acting under the provisions of GAR 42, Bridget Gem is prohibited from competing in an event until such time as both a veterinary clearance is provided to the satisfaction of Stewards and a satisfactory trial is completed, pursuant to GAR 132. Further, under the provisions of GAR 42 (3) Bridget Gem, is suspended from racing for 28 days at all tracks.
A post-race sample was taken from Mt. View Bentley - the winner of the event.
