Steward's Report
Deadly Deduction – The frequency of racing was discussed with trainer Chris Reynolds, the comments were noted.
Aston Zabbar and Vitnell Bale were quick to begin. Sassy Skye and Solar Lock were slow to begin.
Deadly Deduction underwent a post–race veterinary examination no apparent injury was reported.
Catch The King (severley checked approaching the first turn), underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have right hindleg tensor fascia latae (Triangle). A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
Cool Doull Keats underwent a post-race veterinary examination following the event and after being revetted, no injury was apparent. Stewards spoke to Trainer - Mr. M McClelland regarding the racing manners of Cool Doull Keats in the home straight. After hearing submissions from Mr. McClelland, viewing the available race footage (in particular the head-on vision), and having their own observations, the Stewards issued a warning to the connections regarding the greyhound’s racing manners in the home straight.
