Steward's Report
Lektra Daisy was quick to begin.
Big Robbie trailed the field throughout the event, underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left carpal (wrist) sprain. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
Lektra Hydro underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have medial tibial periostitis on the left hind leg. A 7 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Mr Philip Lenehan regarding the racing manners of Lektra Hydro soon after the start. After hearing submissions from Mr Lenehan, viewing the available race footage and having their own observations, the Stewards issued a warning to connections regarding the greyhound’s racing manners soon after the start.
