Steward's Report
It's Luigi was slow to begin.
Speedy Quokka failed to pursue the lure with due commitment over the concluding stages of the event and collided with Hey Tootle.
Speedy Quokka underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was revetted following race six. Speedy Quokka was found to have a left hamstring injury. A 5 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to representative Ms Jordan Mcquillen regarding Speedy Quokka's racing manners over the concluding stages. Acting under the provisions of GAR 125, Speedy Quokka was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Ms. Mcquillen pleaded guilty to the charge, Speedy Quokka was found guilty and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 125, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
A post–race sample was taken from Madam Nova – the winner of the event.
