Steward's Report
A pre–race sample was taken from Ohana Bear.
Ohana Bear was quick to begin. Big Timber was slow to begin.
Port Albert, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a left pencil injury. A 7 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Mr. Robert Whitford regarding Port Albert's performance. After hearing submissions from Mr Whitford, viewing the available race footage and acting on their observations, Stewards deemed the performance of Port Albert unsatisfactory. Port Albert must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 129, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
There was no head-on vision available in the back straight for this event.
