Steward's Report

Parumba Mighty – Late scratching at 16:29 on the advice of the On– Track Veterinarian (GAR 92) due to elevated temperature. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

A pre–race sample was taken from Solar Tiger.

Solar Tiger and Digger's Best were quick to begin. Forward Step was slow to begin.

Solar Tiger underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a left sesamoid injury. A 5 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Mr Colin Baker regarding the racing manners of Solar Tiger approaching the home turn and on the home turn. After hearing submissions from Mr Baker, viewing the available race footage and having their own observations, the Stewards issued a warning to connections regarding the greyhound’s racing manners.

There was no head-on vision available in the back straight for this event.
