Little Bit More was slow to begin. Shiraz Reef and Inspector Lynley collided soon after the start. Shiraz Reef and Barjas collided approaching the first turn, checking Shiraz Reef. Miss Miantra checked off Zealous Revenge on the first turn. Dermott and Barjas collided on the home turn, checking Barjas. Zealous Revenge checked off Lynlaw Zane on the home turn. Dermott lost ground in the home straight.
Dermott was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the right and left pencil muscle and right back muscle, a ten day stand down period was imposed.
