Bomber Osti was slow to begin. Bomber Osti crossed to the outside soon after the start checking Authentic Ace. Hanging Solo cheked off Road Trip Blues soon after the start. Authentic Ace checked off Road Trip Blues approaching the 250mtrs. Road Trip Blues and Bomber Osti collided at the 250mtrs. Classique and Fang Larky collided approaching the winning post.
Authentic Ace was vetted and revetted following event 9. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
Stewards issued a warning to Mrs. L Harrowfield, the trainer of Authentic Ace regarding the greyhound's racing manners at the 100mtrs mark of the event.
