Make Papa Proud, Twelve Steps and Crowdza Roaring collided soon after the start.  Walter Miti, Irish Sparkle and Norman Benz collided soon after the start checking Irish Sparkle.  Walter Miti, Norman Benz, Make Papa Proud, Twelve Steps and Crowdza Roaring collided at the 300 metre mark checking Norman Benz, Make Papa Proud and Crowdza Roaring.  Enticed State and Walter Miti collided at the 50 metre mark.

Stewards spoke to Mr. M. Collyer, regarding his difficulty in boxing the greyhound Walter Miti.  Stewards directed that Walter Miti be boxed first in future events.

Make Papa Proud was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Colliport was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to it's right hamstring.  A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Zander's Express and Here Comes Alex were slow to begin.  Prince Lark, Here Comes Alex and Zander's Express collided soon after the start checking Brass Knocka, Prince Lark and Izzy Reg.  Pure Glory and Izzy Reg collided at the 300 metre mark.  Here Comes Alex checked off Zander's Express at the 300 metre mark.  Izzy Reg and Prince Lark collided several times from the 250 metre mark to the 150 metre mark.  Izzy Reg checked off Prince Lark at the 150 metre mark.  Rockem Woody and Naughty And Nice collided approaching the winning post checking Naughty And Nice.  Izzy Reg lost ground in the conlcuding stages of the event.  Brass Knocka raced wide throughout the event.

Survivor Sal was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to it's right stopper bone.  A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Pappa Gallo was slow to begin.  Swagzilla, It's Iron Hide, Wolfbane McCabe and Texan collided soon after the start checking Swagzilla, It's Iron Hide and Texan.  Swagzilla checked off Texan at the 200 metre mark.  Pappa Gallo checked off Wolfbane McCabe at the 150 metre mark.  Swagzilla checked off Texan at the 100 metre mark.

A pre-race sample was taken from Dark Bromance.

Blingsteen, Dark Bromance and Gold Bullion were slow to begin.  Call Me Scary and Brave Crawf collided soon after the start checking Brave Crawf and Smash It.  Blingsteen and Dark Bromance collided at the 300 metre mark checking Blingsteen.  Smash It and Gold Bullion collided at the 200 metre mark checking Gold Bullion which lost considerable ground as a result.

Gold Bullion was vetted following the event and after being re-vetted following event 8, it was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Stewards spoke to Mr. L. Kraemer, the trainer of the greyhound Gold Bullion.  Stewards deemed the performance of Gold Bullion unsatisfactory in this event and acting in accordance with GAR 71, Stewards directed  that Gold Bullion must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Choco Rocco and Call Me Hank collided soon after the start.  Accomplished, Choco Rocco, Call Me Hank, Bejay The Dejay and Zambora Storm collided at the 300 metre mark.  El Grand Seal and Cosmic Wise collided at the 300 metre mark.  Choco Rocco and Call Me Hank collided at the 250 metre mark and again at the 200 metre mark.  Accomplished and Size Does Matter collided at the 200 metre mark checking Accomplished and Bejay The Dejay.  Accomplished checked off Cosmic Wise at the 50 metre mark.  Zambora Storm checked off Cosmic Wise approaching the winning post.

Track Curator, Mr. L. Rowe advised stewards that the track was lightly harrowed on Friday 12th September 2014.
