Bern By was slow to begin.
Miranda Sally (contacted the rail and fell turning off the back straight) underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a laceration to the left stifle area and abrasions on both hind legs. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.
Little Thor (checked by Miranda Sally turning off the back straight) underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a left back muscle injury. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
A post-race sample was taken from Riverdale Bud - winner of the event.
