Steward's Report
Chasing Rascal - Late scratching at 11.37am acting on a confirmed telephone call with Trainer Mr. Richard Boehm who advised that he was unable to travel to the track due to road closures.
Dragon Inn – Late scratching at 12.22pm when Mr. Daryl Brennan reported the greyhound to have Diarrhea (GAR 76). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate pursuant to GAR 19(3)(w) before any future nominations will be accepted.
Excruciating – Late scratching at 13:04 due to non–arrival (GAR 86 and LR 39). A 28 day stand down period was imposed. Mr. K. Lloyd informed Stewards that he had a vehicle breakdown on–route to the track. Stewards advised Mr. K. Lloyd that evidence of the breakdown will need to be submitted, to the satisfaction of Stewards, within 72 hours of the occurrence that caused the non–arrival. The matter will be re–evaluated upon receipt of this evidence.
Queen Butterfly – Late scratching at 13:05 due to non–arrival (GAR 86 and LR 39). A 28 day stand down period was imposed. Mr. K. Lloyd informed Stewards that he had a vehicle breakdown on–route to the track. Stewards advised Mr. K. Lloyd that evidence of the breakdown will need to be submitted, to the satisfaction of Stewards, within 72 hours of the occurrence that caused the non–arrival.
