Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was taken from Gladiator Hulk.
Reloaded and Gladiator Hulk were slow to begin.
Struck Gold raced ungenerously on the home turn, underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. Stewards spoke to trainer Mr. Gary Peach regarding the racing manners of Struck Gold on the home turn. After hearing submissions from Mr. Peach, viewing the available race footage and having their own observations, the Stewards were not comfortably satisfied that there was enough evidence to suggest Struck Gold had breached any of the relevant Rules of Racing. As such, the Stewards gave Struck Gold the benefit of doubt and instead issued only a warning to connections regarding the greyhound’s racing manners.
