Super Indigo, Waranga Jet, Semyorka and Bet Bet Zac collided on the first turn checking Super Indigo, Waranga Jet and Bet Bet Zac. Semyorka galloped on the heels of Bet Bet Zac on the first turn checking Semyorka and Allen Rogan. Super Indigo and You Had Me collided entering the home straight.

Wind Riddler stumbled soon after the start. Not Onya Nelly and Bronelly Dancer collided soon after the start. Bronelly Dancer veered out and marred the running of Kiss Me Ketut several times in the home straight.

Trainer of Bronelly Dancer, Ms. T.Collins, declined to have the greyhound vetted following the event.

Acting under GAR 69(1)(a) stewards charged Bronelly Dancer with marring and suspended the greyhound for 28 days at Ballarat and directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Rockafonic and Horsley Bale were slow to begin.
