George Again, Regal Gladiator and Gaye's Delight collided approaching the first turn checking Regal Gladiator and George Again. Gaye's Delight checked off Quando Bale approaching the home turn. Gaye's Delight and Flaming Bob collided approaching the home turn. Gaye's Delight and Sir Benjamin Jon collided approaching the home turn. Gaye's Delight, Regal Gladiator and Sir Benjamin Jon collided entering the home straight checking all three greyhounds. Regal Gladiator and Sir Benjamin Jon collided several times in the home straight.

Sir Benjamin Jon was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury.

Black Barron Lad was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury.

Stewards spoke to Mr. S. Bonaccurso, the trainer of Black Barron Lad regarding the greyhound's racing manners approaching the winning post. Mr. Bonaccurso stated that the greyhound had been racing over shorter distances and incurring trouble in the early stages of the races. He believed the greyhound would benefit from the extra distance but has tired over the concluding stages this evening. Stewards noted the explanation.
