Ronny Colins was very slow to begin (12 lengths) and took no competitive part in the event. Kayfish was slow to begin. Watershed Miss and Parhelion collided soon after the start. Charlemayne, Watershed Miss and Kayfish collided soon after the start checking Charlemayne. Charlemayne and Kayfish collided on the first turn checking Charlemayne. Fearsome Boy and Bordello Queen approaching the home turn checking Fearsome Boy.
Ronny Colins was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
Stewards spoke to Mr. K. Lloyd, the handler of the greyhound Ronny Colins. Stewards deemed the performance of Ronny Colins unsatisfactory at box rise in this event and acting in accordance with GAR 71, Stewards directed that Ronny Colins must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) before any future nomination will be accepted.
