A sample was taken from Rock Icon upon arrival at the course.
Hazelnut – The frequency of racing was discussed with the trainer, Mr. Jason Formosa, the comments were noted.
Together We Can and She Sizzles were quick to begin. Moonlit Dior was slow to begin.
Hazelnut underwent a post–race veterinary examination due to frequency of racing – no apparent injury was reported.
Together We Can was checked on the first turn and lost ground thereafter, subsequently underwent a post–race veterinary examination, and was found to have a right tensor fascia latae muscle injury and left long head triceps muscle soreness. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
A post-race sample was taken from She Sizzles - winner of the event.
