Steward's Report
Mega White– New declared weight of 30.9 kg, last raced at 32.0 kg.
Rio Sam was slow to begin.
Mega White faltered at the 300m mark, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have right hindleg toe injury. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.
Mega White - Stewards advised kennel representative Mr. Shane Spence that a veterinary certificate of clearance must be produced before any future nomination will be accepted, pursuant to GAR 19(3)(w).
No Doors underwent a post–race veterinary examination at the trainer’s request and was found to have a right foreleg toe fracture. A 60 day stand down period was imposed.
A post–race sample was taken from Chuckles – winner of the event.
Mr Shane Spence was issued with a warning pursuant to GAR 82 to ensure that no unauthorised person handles any greyhound presented for an event.
