Steward's Report
Hortorf Bale and Max Prince were quick to begin.
Uhlan Bale marred Bodhicitta approaching the winning post, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a diaphragmatic flutter on its left side. No stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to kennel representative Mr. Thomas Dailly regarding Uhlan Bale’s racing manners approaching the finishing line. Acting under the provisions of GAR 123 Uhlan Bale was charged with marring. Mr. Dailly pled guilty to the charge. Uhlan Bale was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Geelong and must perform a satisfactory trial in accordance with GAR 127, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
Due to a fault on the semaphore board, the time was incorrectly displayed. The correct finish time that is published on FastTrack is 26.135 sec.
