A sample was taken from Tinker Mike upon arrival at the course.
Pandora's Raptor and Tinker Murphy were slow to begin.
Fabs Wasabi underwent a post–race veterinary examination – no apparent injury was reported. Stewards spoke to representative Mr T. Mitchell regarding the racing manners of Fabs Wasabi approaching the winning post. After hearing submissions from Mr Mitchell, viewing the available race footage (side on and head on) and acting on their own observations, Stewards took no action.
Due to a fault on the semaphore board, the time was incorrectly displayed. The correct finish time published on FastTrack is 26.513 sec.
