A pre-race sample was taken from Little Ollie Mac.
Go Wheels and Queen Sal were quick to begin.
Queen Sal underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was re-vetted after Race 12 and was found to have left hock injury. A 7 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Ms. M. Salvatore regarding Queen Sal’s racing manners in the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 125, Queen Sal was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Ms. Salvatore pled not guilty to the charge, Queen Sal was found guilty and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 125, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
