Steward's Report
Caiden's Mate lost ground on the first turn, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a left monkey muscle injury. A 28 day stand down period was imposed.
Mumma's Meatball marred Dark Light in the home straight, underwent a post–race veterinary examination – no apparent injury was reported.
Stewards spoke to trainer Mr Scott Milard regarding Mumma's Meatball’s racing manners in the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 123 Mumma's Meatball was charged with marring. Mr Milard pled guilty to the charge, Mumma's Meatball was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Horsham and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 127, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
A post-race sample was taken from Stealth - the winner of the event.
