Steward's Report
Premier Wimpy and Counterfeiter were slow to begin. Premier Wimpy, Counterfeiter and Hexen collided soon after the start. Perry White and Dozer Tron collided approaching the 200 metre mark. Dozer Tron and Premier Wimpy collided at the 200 metre mark. Perry White and Red Flynn collided approaching the 150 metre mark. Dozer Tron, Premier Wimpy, Counterfeiter and Hexen collided at the 150 metre mark checking Premier Wimpy, Counterfeiter and Hexen. Premier Wimpy eased and pulled up at the 100 metre mark.
Premier Wimpy was vetted following the event and after being re-vetted after event 5 it was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
Stewards spoke to Mr. H Wetzels, the trainer of the greyhound Premier Wimpy. Acting under GAR 69(A)(1) stewards charged Fezwah with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment and suspended the greyhound for 28 days at Healesville and directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(A)(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.
