Southwood Dennis and Regal Diamonds collided soon after the start. Deadly Boy, Seabrook Snow and Savage Storm collided approaching the first turn checking Southwood Dennis and Regal Diamonds. Seabrook Snow checked off Savage Storm on the first turn. Go Jacko Go raced wide on the home turn. Seabrook Snow raced wide in the home straight.
Queen Kaboom was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the left hamstring and the left deltoid. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
