Steward's Report
Highbury was slow to begin. Bayman Bale and Our Fireman collided soon after the start. Top Innings and Quirinus Quirrel collided soon after the start checking Top Innings which contacted the running rail as a result. We Are Geelong and Spiral Staircase collided approaching the first turn. Spiral Staircase contacted the running rail on the first turn. Highbury crossed to the rail on the first turn checking Dyna Olsen and severely checking Bayman Bale which was turned outwards as a result. Spiral Staircase raced wide on the home turn. Highbury and Bayman Bale collided in the home straight.
Spiral Staircase was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
Top Innings was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to it's left hock. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
