Savage Storm went up with the lids at box rise and was slow to begin.  Maintenance Man and Multi King collided soon after the start.  Cosmic Lady contacted the running rail on the first turn and lost ground as a result.  Multi King and Sootette collided approaching the home turn checking Sootette and Black Superman.  Savage Storm was held up for a run entering the home straight.  Savage Storm checked off Multi King approaching the winning post.

Cosmic Lady was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained grazing to it's left metatarsal.  No stand down period was imposed.

Election Promise was quick to begin.  Cosmic Tequila and Flaming Bob were slow to begin.  Bet Bet Ryan and Crackerjack Lad collided soon after the start.  Tiger Toy crossed to the rail on the first turn checking Election Promise and Bet Bet Ryan.  Crackerjack Lad and Chief Tyson collided on the first turn.  Cosmic Tequila checked off Fury Bale approaching the home turn checking Flaming Bob.

Highbury was slow to begin.  Bayman Bale and Our Fireman collided soon after the start.  Top Innings and Quirinus Quirrel collided soon after the start checking Top Innings which contacted the running rail as a result.  We Are Geelong and Spiral Staircase collided approaching the first turn.  Spiral Staircase contacted the running rail on the first turn.  Highbury crossed to the rail on the first turn checking Dyna Olsen and severely checking Bayman Bale which was turned outwards as a result.  Spiral Staircase raced wide on the home turn.  Highbury and Bayman Bale collided in the home straight.

Top Innings was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to it's left hock.  A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Lektra Hawk and Punk Pirate were slow to begin and collided soon after the start.  Pepper Fozz checked off He's No Jet approaching the home turn.  Look Another Dee clipped the heels of He's No Jet on the home turn and stumbled as a result.  Morson Senor and Lektra Hawk collided approaching the winning post.

He's Buzzin' was slow to begin.  He's Buzzin' galloped on the heels of Mepunga Fearon on the first turn checking both greyhounds.

It'z Fair Dinkum trialled over the 400 metre distance from box 1, weight 28.8kgs.  The greyhound was placed 2nd, in a field of 4.  The time of the trial was 23.23.  The greyhound was beaten by a margin of 1.25 lengths.  It'z Fair Dinkum was cleared. 

Kudah Lady trialled over the 400 metre distance from box 3, weight 26.5kgs. The greyhound was placed 3rd, in a field of 4. The time of the trial was 23.23. The greyhound was beaten by a margin of 6.75 lengths.  Kudah Lady was cleared.
