Bluey Benz, Heza Apple and Sonic Gold Rush collided several times from the 200m mark until the 100m mark, checking all three greyhounds. Sonic Gold Rush and Diablo Keroma collided approaching the winning post. Pilbara Gold raced wide throughout the event.
Sonic Gold Rush was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
