Steward's Report
Darlyn Princess went up with the lids at box rise and was slow to begin. Darlyn Princess crossed to the outside soon after the start, checking Full Day. Billy's On Fire and Bullet Express collided soon after the start.
Stewards charged Miss Teuila Shields, handler of Full Day, with a breach of GAR 46(2) for her failure to appear at the kennels within 5 minutes of the appointed time to retrieve the greyhound for this event. Miss Shields pleaded guilty and was found guilty and fined $100, wholly suspended for a period of 6 months. When assessing penalty Stewards took into account Miss Shields' honesty, experience as a handler and excellent record in relation to this rule.
