Steward's Report
Jenkins Bale, Tron's Son and Black Carbide were slow to begin. Start Dee Action, Bally Abbie and Dark Harmony collided soon after the start, checking Bally Abbie. Hoss and Midnight Osti collided soon after the start. Start Dee Action and Dark Harmony collided approaching the first turn, checking Start Dee Action. Tron's Son checked off Black Carbide approaching the first turn. Start Dee Action checked off Dark Harmony on the first turn and collided with Jenkins Bale; resulting in Start Dee Action losing ground. Hoss, Dark Harmony and Black Carbide collided on the first turn, checking Dark Harmony, Jenkins Bale, Tron's Son and Start Dee Action. Start Dee Action and Dark Harmony collided approaching the home turn. Hoss eased in the home straight. Hoss eased approaching the winning post, checking Black Carbide.
Hoss was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
Stewards spoke to Mr. I. Robinson the trainer of the greyhound Hoss. Acting under GAR 69(A)(1) stewards charge Hoss with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment and suspended the greyhound for 3 months (all tracks) and directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(A)(2)(b) before any future nomination will be accepted.
